Darakbang Friends - Contract x Romance CV Editing
This is a game CV editing video using Pro Tools (2024.12), iZotope RX 11, and Soundflow.
Since the video was created with permission from the developer, it includes audio, and the script screen is also shown alongside the footage.
The videos cover only the first one or two chapters of the project.
CV editing is a continuous series of repetitive tasks.
Work efficiency largely depends on how well the environment has been set up and how systematically the script files have been organized.
For example, having scripts organized by character and scene, a file structure arranged according to a defined naming convention, and a labeling system can dramatically reduce the time required for subsequent tasks.
Scripts, macros, and shortcut key mappings are not optional — they are essential.

The total number of files for the main character came to approximately 1,300–1,500. (The entire game amounts to around 4,500 files in total.)
The Commit process takes approximately 95 minutes.
A full cleanup is performed via Audiosuite even before the initial edit, but because many heavy plugins are involved during Commit, the process consumes a considerable amount of time.
Other Useful Information to Keep in Mind During the Workflow
Audio work should be completed in a single pass whenever possible.
During editing, it is best to listen to each cut in real time, checking for any issues and addressing them on the spot.
Going back to re-listen from the beginning after the entire edit is complete takes significantly more time and causes concentration to drop.
Whenever possible, organize your workflow so that all issues are identified and resolved during the initial pass.
Use a project management tool that syncs in real time.
CV editing is often divided among multiple editors working simultaneously.
In such cases, managing task assignments and completion status through a local Excel file makes it easy for items to be missed or duplicated.
Using a real-time collaborative tool such as Google Sheets makes it much easier to share and track each editor's progress.
All work should follow the same environment and manual standards.
At our studio, every editor uses the same software, the same plugins, and the same editing templates.
Because the workflow and standards are fully documented in a manual, the format and quality of the output remain consistent regardless of which editor handles the work.
This also ensures that the review stage can proceed according to a consistent set of criteria.
